Full Time/Part Time Foliage Plant Department Assistant

Full Time and Part Time Openings Available.

McNamara Florist is looking for an organized person willing to working to work for a fast-paced floral company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Arrange and fill orders for planter baskets and specialty gardens.
Work with a wide range of foliage and blooming plants
Water and provide necessary care for all plants.
Arrange and organize the distribution of plants and gardens for multiple retail locations
Receive and organize plant shipments
Responsible for communicating plant availabilities to store managers on a regular basis.
Responsible for upkeep, organization, and inventory of the plant department.
Responsible for the proper unloading and placement of new plant material.

Able to be on feet and do lots of walking, very physical job
Able to tolerate environmental conditions (heat and cold and wet and dirty)
Fast-paced working environment
Repeatedly lift moderately heavy loads up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat
Able to push/pull heavy loads
