Full Time Fort Wayne Assistant Retail Manager

Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer care for a high-end brand and finding ways to support the brand.
• Use personalized customer care to increase sales
• Organize store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
• Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
• Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
• Plan and oversee in-store promotional events
• Trouble-shoot basic technical difficulties that arise with machinery/computer systems
• Communicate with corporate and Indianapolis store locations
Skills
• Proven experience as a retail manager or in other managerial positions (experience with floral/plants is a plus!)
• Knowledge of retail management best practices
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal abilities, and sales skills
• Flexible schedule to cover store personnel needs including weekends and busy seasonal/holiday periods
• Experience with human resource skills and basic accounting skills
• Ability and motivation to learn product knowledge quickly
• Ability to work with and manage a small staff as well as seasonal employees added to the staff during busy times; also will need to work and communicate with staff from other departments
• Able to be on your feet most of the day, this includes lots of walking and sometimes challenging environmental conditions

Job Requirements
